Intellectual Property Policy
Makefew respects copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property. Upload or sell only content and products you have rights to use. A listing approval is not a determination that a design or product is free of third-party rights. This policy is administered by Blue Hill Foundry, LLC.
1 Reporting copyright infringement
Send copyright inquiries and reports of suspected infringement to contact@makefew.com. This is our ordinary copyright contact. Blue Hill Foundry, LLC is located in Chapel Hill, NC.
A copyright notice should identify the protected work (or a representative list); identify the material to remove and its location with enough detail to find it; give your name, address, telephone and email; state your good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or law; state that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner; and include your physical or electronic signature.
We review notices, seek missing information where appropriate, and act expeditiously on qualifying notices. We notify the affected contributor as appropriate. We may provide the notice and relevant contact details to that contributor and advisers to handle the claim. Avoid unrelated personal information. A complaint is an allegation, not an automatic legal finding.
2 Counter notices and restoration
If you believe removed material was misidentified or removed by mistake, you may send the agent a signed counter-notice. Identify the removed material and its former location; state under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification; provide your name, address and telephone; consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address, or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which the service provider may be found; and state that you accept service of process from the original complainant or its agent.
We will forward a qualifying counter-notice to the complainant. Where section 512’s restoration procedure applies, we replace the material not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after receipt, unless the agent receives notice that the complainant filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the alleged infringement. A separate lawful safety or policy restriction may still apply and will be explained where appropriate.
3 Other rights and repeat violations
For trademark, patent, publicity or other rights complaints, contact@makefew.com should receive the right claimed, relevant registration or evidence, exact listing locations, explanation, contact details and authority to act. These complaints do not automatically use the DMCA counter-notice timetable. We may request more information or a court determination rather than decide a complex ownership dispute ourselves.
We terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances and accommodate standard technical measures as required by applicable law. Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a copyright notice or counter-notice can create liability. Neither this policy nor submission of a complaint grants Makefew ownership of your work or a license to fabricate it.
