Makefew · Brand references

Make few,
make it well.

Considered, approachable, quietly playful.
An identity that leaves room for the maker.

02 · The palette

Warm paper. Deep green.

One restrained accent, clear text and plenty of breathing room. Maker storefronts keep their own colors.

The product comes first.

Describe what is made, how many are available and when it will ship. Be specific, helpful and honest. Avoid manufactured urgency or implying that a logo certifies quality.

Write Makefew in prose and makefew.com for the domain. Keep the logo’s lowercase lettering as artwork; typing the name in Figtree does not recreate the logo.

Make few, make it well.

Keep the tagline’s wording, comma and final period. Omit it when it would be too small to read.

04 · In practice

Give the work room to shine.

Keep it clear

  • Leave at least half a main letter’s height of clear space on every side, beyond the sparkle too.
  • Preserve the artwork’s proportions and original colors.
  • Use the green wordmark on a plain light background. Add a light backing on dark or busy surfaces.
  • Keep Makefew small on a maker’s storefront.
  • Give linked logos the accessible name “Makefew home.”

Keep it simple

  • Do not stretch, rotate, redraw or rearrange the logo.
  • Do not add shadows, gradients, extra colors or decorative sparkles.
  • Do not use the retired MF monogram or the old M tile.
  • Do not squeeze the full wordmark into a tiny icon; a dedicated icon export is needed.
  • Keep refunds, security and order problems calm and direct.

A little warmth goes a long way: softened corners, one sparkle, or the small smile in the batch treatment. The maker’s product is always the focus.
