## 1 Who we are and what these terms cover

Makefew is operated by Blue Hill Foundry, LLC (“Makefew,” “we” or “us”). These Terms govern the Makefew website, maker tools and purchases through the service. Blue Hill Foundry, LLC is located in Chapel Hill, NC. Contact us at contact@makefew.com.

The selling store is identified on each listing and order. At our initial launch, Blue Hill Foundry, LLC operates both Makefew and the Blue Hill Foundry store and is the seller of that store’s products. This does not limit its obligations as seller. Invited independent stores may open for browsing and maker setup. Purchases from an independent store require separate activation under its seller agreement; the seller identity will be disclosed before purchase.

When you affirmatively accept these Terms at checkout or account registration, you agree to them. Our Returns Refunds and Shipping Policy forms part of the purchase terms. Our Acceptable Use and Product Policy and Intellectual Property Policy remain drafts and do not form part of this agreement. The Seller Agreement applies separately to activated makers. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling; accepting these Terms is not consent to optional marketing or unrelated uses of your information.

## 2 Eligibility and account security

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract to place an order or operate a maker account. If you act for a business, you must have authority to bind it. Give accurate contact and delivery details and use a payment method you are authorized to use.

Buyers can check out without an account. Treat your private order and conversation links like passwords: anyone with a valid link may be able to access its information or available actions. Contact us if a link is lost or exposed. Maker accounts must use the required authentication controls. Report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

## 3 Products and order acceptance

Makefew’s launch offer is completed physical goods. A batch number does not promise a permanently limited edition or an individually marked item unless the listing says so. Product specifications, included parts, condition, shipping terms and disclosed variations appear in the listing. Photos and screens can differ in color; that does not excuse a material mismatch with the description.

Submitting checkout requests a purchase. A temporary inventory hold does not itself confirm payment or guarantee an order. We confirm accepted payment and the order by email or the order page. If payment is uncertain, contact us before paying again. If we cannot fulfill an accepted order, we will notify you and provide the required refund.

If we identify a material listing or price error, we will explain it and ask whether you want to place a corrected order, or cancel and refund an unfulfilled order. We will not charge an increased price without your agreement. Existing purchase rights remain protected.

## 4 Price and payment

Checkout displays the item price, shipping or local delivery charge, applicable tax and total in US dollars before payment. PayPal processes payments; available card and other options depend on its checkout. Do not send card details, passwords or security codes to Makefew support. Provider terms govern the provider’s service; they do not remove the seller’s obligations to you.

## 5 Shipping cancellations and remedies

Our Returns Refunds and Shipping Policy explains dispatch, delivery, cancellations, the 30-day change-of-mind option and problems with an order. Statutory rights and any applicable written warranty are additional to that option. Contacting us does not require you to abandon a payment-provider dispute or other remedy available by law.

## 6 Acceptable use and honest feedback

Do not misuse the service, access another person’s private information, interfere with security, submit fraudulent orders, impersonate anyone, send spam or threats, or upload unlawful or infringing material. Do not publish another person’s private order link or personal information.

Ratings must reflect a genuine purchasing experience and follow the eligibility shown on the site. We do not require positive feedback, condition a refund on changing feedback, or remove an eligible rating merely because it is negative. We may address fraud, conflicts of interest, abuse and unlawful content using consistently applied rules. Tell us about an error or moderation concern at contact@makefew.com.

## 7 Content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format and display it as needed to operate the service in the context you chose. Private messages remain private to the participants and authorized service personnel; this license does not authorize their use in public advertising. Separate permission is required to reuse your content as a promotional testimonial.

Upload only material you have the right to use. Makefew branding, software and other protected content remain the property of their owners. You may use the service for its intended purpose; these Terms do not grant rights to reproduce another maker’s designs. Send suspected infringement reports identifying the work and listing to contact@makefew.com. We may request further information and review the response from the affected user.

## 8 Service changes and responsibility

We may maintain, modify or suspend features, and restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or a material breach of these Terms. Where practical, we will explain a restriction and provide a way to seek review. Suspension does not cancel earned refund rights or our obligations on existing orders.

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Product descriptions, agreed remedies and applicable warranties remain binding as required by law. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded. No additional contractual liability cap is imposed by these Terms.

## 9 Disputes updates and the rest of the agreement

Please contact us so we can try to resolve a concern. You may still contact a regulator, use an available provider dispute process or pursue a claim in a court with jurisdiction. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class proceedings. North Carolina law governs these Terms, except where mandatory law requires otherwise, including protections of your home jurisdiction. A claim may be brought in a court with jurisdiction; we do not require an exclusive forum for consumer claims.

We will post revised Terms with a new effective date and provide advance notice of material changes where appropriate. Changes will not reduce rights on an existing order without a lawful basis and any required agreement. An unenforceable provision does not invalidate the remainder. Our failure to enforce a term once is not a continuing waiver.

## 10 Account closure and continuing obligations

You may stop using Makefew and request maker-account closure by emailing contact@makefew.com. Account closure does not automatically cancel an order, authorize abandonment of fulfillment, extinguish a refund obligation or remove records we must retain. We will explain how to handle open orders and obtain information you are entitled to receive. Information is handled under our Privacy Policy.

We may end access after a material breach, for a legal requirement or when we discontinue a service. We will give reasonable notice where practical and lawful; urgent fraud, security or safety concerns may require immediate restriction. We will preserve an appropriate way to address existing orders. Rights concerning completed purchases, content ownership, necessary record retention, accrued obligations and dispute resolution survive closure.

## 11 Confidentiality and private communications

We will use nonpublic support information for the purpose it was supplied, service operation, security, legal duties and related dispute handling. Authorized personnel and providers may access it as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not submit information you are not entitled to share. Public listings and ratings are not confidential. A private message does not create an attorney-client or other professional advisory relationship.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from reporting unlawful conduct, seeking professional advice, communicating with a regulator or making a disclosure protected by law. We do not use confidentiality provisions to restrict honest reviews.

## 12 Third party services and optional features

Payment, carrier and video services have their own terms. We are responsible for our own obligations and representations; naming a provider does not transfer them all to that provider. Makefew does not promise eligibility for any particular PayPal method or provider protection program. A provider’s coverage depends on its rules and the transaction.

Features clearly marked sandbox or test are for testing and do not create real purchases or shipments. A real sale is not deprived of buyer protections merely because part of the platform is described as beta. Optional future features, subscriptions or new charges require their own advance disclosures and any required agreement; these Terms do not authorize them now.

## 13 Notices and general provisions

We send order and legal notices through the contact information you provide, your private order page or other lawful means. Keep your email current. Send legal notices to contact@makefew.com with the subject “Legal notice.” This does not replace any legally required method of service.

These Terms and the policies incorporated in section 1 form the agreement for the service; the listing and checkout terms accepted with an order also apply. Mandatory law controls a conflict. A store cannot override the platform’s buyer protections with a less protective listing term. A separate seller agreement cannot reduce a buyer’s accepted rights.

We may transfer this agreement with the relevant business if the successor assumes applicable obligations and the transfer respects privacy commitments and law. You may not transfer a maker account without permission. Events beyond reasonable control may affect service, but do not erase notice, cancellation, refund or other nonwaivable obligations. No waiver is effective merely because a right was not exercised once.
